Da moves of the vigilante

In less than a month, it starts the brand new season of one of my top 3 tv shows: Gotham. And the trailers announce the appearance of a new vigilante. We all could agreed who is it for, but in this post i don't want to talk about that vigilante, i rather write about the Gotham´s all time not credit vigilante, that have quite the real moves to defend the city of its madness.

Yes, and if you could read between lines, i'm referring to Selina Kyle, well, more precisely to the actress who give her life: Camren Bicandova.

 I just had the opportunity to met her, in Comic Con Ecuador (2nd and quite better edition) and it did not go on like i meant. I just came with a whole different story of how this meeting would be amazing, and would use those minutes to tell her how much i love her work as an actress and as a dancer. But, at the time it came to met her, it was a total mess. I could barely speak, i started babbling, and i'm pretty sure she talked way more than me. She was very nice, though.

Well, for this part on, i will stop regretting myself and start making this post a new opportunity to tell Camren everything i wanted.
Maybe it is not as personal as saturday at the Comic Con, but i really find necessary that you know you have a fan -another- that really supports you, and hopes you will accomplish every single goal you propose to yourself. Pretty sure, you are gonna achieve all of them.

I can tell you're one of my role models -huge, eh?- and that is because every single time i watch your performances not only as an actress but as a dancer, i realize that i have a long way up to the top. I finally understand that i need to move my butt off the couch and start making some damn moves.

I've learned a lot thanks to you, and i'll be grateful like forever.

You are amazing, Camren. I mean, i'm sure tons of people say it to you every single day, but i really admire your passion and since i met you i started realizing it is because you have such a kind heart.

Never stop smiling vigilante,

En menos de un menos, comienza la cuarta temporada de una de mis 3 series favoritas: Gotham. Para los que están familiarizados con la serie trata sobre los inicios de Batman como el protector de ciudad gótica. Y el trailer promete que en esta nueva temporada veremos los primeros pasos del héroe más famoso de la historia como vigilante. Pero en esta entrada pretendo escribir sobre otra vigilante -la palabra funciona mejor en inglés, lo sé-, una que a lo largo de la terrible historia de Gotham nunca ha recibido el crédito que se merece, y que es la única cuyos pasos de alguna manera pueden lidiar con la locura de esta ciudad.

Sí, estoy hablando de Selina Kyle, o mejor dicho de la actriz que la interpreta magistralmente: Camren Bicandova.

El sábado pasado tuve la oportunidad de conocerla en la Comic Con Ecuador (en una excelente segunda edición del evento) y la verdad las cosas no salieron tan bien como pensaba.
Pasó lo mismo de siempre: me hice un gran historia en mi cabeza y después por culpa de los nervios casi todo terminó siendo un desastre. Ella de todas formas fue muy amable y educada y en verdad disfruté de la conversación que intentó tener conmigo y que yo no pude sostener por tanto balbucear.

Podría seguir lamentándome, pero prefiero aprovechar esta entrada para escribirle a Camren todo lo que quería decirle el otro día. Quizá no sea tan personal como el sábado en la Comic Con, pero en verdad creo que es necesario que sepas que tiene un fan - otra más, quizá- que te apoya siempre y que admira mucho tu trabajo, no solo como actriz sino como bailarina. Y espero que consigas cualquier meta que te propongas. Te lo mereces

Eres uno de mis modelos a seguir -¿así de fuerte?, pues sí- porque cuando te veo en instagram compartiendo con tus fans, o cuando pude compartir esos 3 minutos contigo y me hiciste preguntas que no pude responder y cuando te veo actuando o bailando, me doy cuenta que tengo un largo camino hacia la cima y que es cuestión de pararme del sofá y comenzar a dar los pasos correctos.
Créeme, he aprendido muchísimo de ti, y voy a estar agradecido por siempre.

En serio, es admirable toda la pasión que le pones a cada pequeña cosa que haces. Y ahora me doy cuenta que es porque tienes un gran corazón.
